Hello blog!

I have been lazy and have not posted anything for the past one month! Haha...

Well, 3 major events happened in the month of September. At least I think they deserve the credit...

First, I sprained my right foot at the beginning of the month - 2 Sept. Ouch!!!

And I finally cut my fringe after so long, on 7 Sept... Now, I have bangs, and I love it!

Lastly, I went for wisdom tooth surgery last Friday. I hereby bravo my courage... Hehe... Actually, it wasn't as bad as I thought, with the help of local anesthesia.

Ok, that's a real quick update on my life...

Shall blog again soon...

Michael Phelps from USA is phenomenal! The first man to win 8 Olympic gold medals in a single event.

I can't help but marvel at his determination in attaining his goals and his ability to achieve those goals he set.

Not everyone can achieve what he did. To win every single race, and with 7 races done in world record time. The Best Swimmer accolade he received at the Victory Ceremony on Sunday is very much well affirmed. He deserved that title. He deserved to be in the history books regarding the sporting arena, which he is already in.

He is, in a word, PHENOMENAL.

I did not forget our very own Women's Table Tennis team in my excitement over Phelps. I must say our team did well and they deserved the silver medal they got. Singapore is finally seeing sunshine after the rain (which lasted for 48 years!).

And oh ya, Tao Li is one lucky gal! Not only did she break the Asian record for Women's 100m Butterfly, Stefanie Sun, the local singing sensational, went down to the studio of Today at Beijing today specially to congratulate Tao Li when it was revealed that the gal admires Stefanie Sun! OMG, who will get a chance like that? It was simply WOW!

Cadbury's OLD GOLD DARK CHOCOLATE LIQUEUR FLAVOURED SELECTION

I saw this at NTUC today and was immediately enthralled.

Finally! Liqueur-flavoured chocolates from a respectable chocolate company at a reasonable price. I have always like chocolates with a tinge of liqueur, even if it is not the real thing.

Liqueur-flavoured chocolates are different from ordinary chocolates; it leaves you wanting for more... Better yet, this particular selection of chocolates come in four different liqueur flavours - Orange, Hazelhut, Irish Cream, and Coffee. There's practically a flavour for everyone! Try it and you will know what I mean. Oh dear, I'm beginning to sound like I'm writing an article for Epiphany. Better stop before I sink further in.

I'm trying to slowly savour my liqueur-flavoured chocolates here.. and the verdict?

They taste a lot better than what I had expected. Double Yum! Yum! Cheers to Cadbury! I like their collection of chocolates, including this new liqueur-flavoured selection.

I sound chocolate-crazy... and I am, indeed...

Hello Kitty Galore...

Just as the first line says, it really is a Hello Kitty galore...

I realised I have collected quite a number of Hello Kitty merchandise over the holidays.

I can't seem to stop myself from swooning over Hello Kitty and its related merchandise, much less stop myself from buying...

Up till now, I have a Hello Kitty pen, file, stickers, pencil, mouse, and even Hello Kitty biscuits.

And all those are not even all. I have more... ;p

Really!

I'm not kidding anyone here.

Don't believe me?

Let the pictures below back up my claim.

Ready?

1, 2, 3...
Now, was I kidding just now?

The days spent after the end of my internship...

I went for Milk's autograph session at J8.

I went for YES933's concert at IMM (because Energy and Milk are performing).

I went for Milk's school concert at NYP.

I went for Superband's QF5's recording.

I visited Karen at her house together with Clara and Beatrice. We looked through her Taiwan trip photos and videos, and stumbled upon a surprise. ;p

I watched Pure 19 on VCD and finished it.

I bought 2 new bags which I adore.

I tried to write my PA report and am still trying.

I made a date with Sis to go K-boxing tomorrow.

I am waiting to watch the latest episode of Fated to Love You...

It's been close to a month since I last blogged... and I do have a few to share... Hehe...

First off, I was shocked when I saw the news yesterday regarding a certain 'higher being'. I didn't expect him to be that kind of person, going by the charges on his sleeves right now. Misplacement of trust is all I can say about the whole incident. People trust you and want to do their bit for charity and the less fortunate in Singapore and around the world. Yet, you sneaked behind our backs and did that kind of thing. It has, and is, a serious case of mistrust on us believers. Singapore is a safe country and all, but its charity business is going down the drain every single day. It took a while for us Singaporeans to trust and believe in charity work again after the last manifesto, but...

Next up, my internship is coming to an end! Yippie!!! Finally, I can sleep in and laze around in bed all I want during weekdays, and do things I feel like doing at my own sweet pace without anyone or anything bothering or rushing me... Hehe... The only downside is, I need to do a final report regarding my internship. So troublesome...

Despite all, I'm looking forward to this weekend! It's going to be a fun-filled weekend for me and my dear sis! Secrets only we know about... Hehe... Sunday please...

Till next time...
