I looked out the window, and realised, to my shock, the sky or the scene before me is yellowish... It is not something you would expect to see at 5pm in the afternoon. And what else is happening except that it has been raining. Raining, then stopping, then raining... The cycle goes on. I like rainy days when I'm at home. The whole house is dark, but cooling. A perfect time for relaxing and slacking. The only bad thing is the thunder, or rather the groan of the thunder. The kind of thunder you get when the sky is deciding whether or not to let down rain. As I said, the whole afternoon has been raining, stopping, and raining...

I need a distractor from trying to write a good essay for Postmodernism. Studying Postmodern texts is hard enough, but writing a Postmodern essay is even harder and requires a lot more brain juice. Which is seriously lacking now. I managed to sit myself down this afternoon and came up with a sorta thesis and a basic outline after a whole afternoon's work. And I do mean a whole afternoon. From around 2 plus to 6 plus... ........... Enough about my essay. Let's talk about ICE3 instead. ICE3 is this cool ice-cream cafe in the heartlands, in Serangoon Gardens. I was surfing the net for dessert cafes last Sunday as I need to find a good substitute for The Chocolate Factory for my lifestyle article. And bless me, I found ICE3! The ambience is nice, food nice, and most importantly, the lady boss is nice too! I did not make a prior appointment and yet she readily agreed to let me do my piece on the cafe. Kudos to the boss! Nice boss aside, I love the Cookies and Cream mudpie I had that afternoon. It was not too sweet and the potion is satisfying. I will most definitely go back there... Haha... Looks tantalisingly delicious right? My favourite Cookies and Cream mudpie! .............. I wonder what my dear sis is doing at chalet now? Miss her! But she's coming back home in less than 24 hours... I still like sharing a room with her... Opps...

Writing the reflection paper for COM 206 was a breeze compared to what I am trying to do now. It took me only 2 hours to write a decent reflection paper. The Postmodernism essay is another matter. Compiling my notes and points is already taking forever to do. I still have my secondary readings to do. Sian... Whatever it is, I will finish the essay by Thursday, leaving me the weekend to slack and relax... I shall perserve till then... I need an epipahny!

I know I have been ignoring this blog for a long time. So, let's start with coincidences. See what I see? It was taken last month, at the carpark at Tampines Sports Complex. ... .. . No? Let's look deeper... Now, do you see what I see? Haha, I know I'm being lame... Can't help it... :P

HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!! I love this festival. Everyone gets to see one another again after a long hectic year. People change all the time, but the bonds that tie us together are forever there.
