Today was one of those days when all you can think of is rubbish and nothing substantial. Feel so bad, especially with a presentation coming on, and I'm not making any sense, even to myself...Maybe it's a good thing Jernigan had to rush off for a meeting when Yan wei and I went to find him. Or else I will be babbling nosense or just keeping dumb... Argh... I really have to come up with a decent, reasonable answer/explanation tomorrow, before I go to see Jernigan yet again... Two more days... and I'm totally freaking myself out... Oh dear...We decided to present on films for our Communications module. Oh man, the movies being suggested... It doesn't matter I haven't watched any of the movies... I'm pretty sure the others in class will lose their appetite for lunch on that day when we present... 'Silent Hill' and 'May'... Which one? Have to go off now... Sigh, have to be back online tonight to discuss the questions for Thursday. Hopefully my brain works then... Really really need to come up with a decent answer... Then I can really discuss with Jernigan tomorrow... Argh... Help... Stressed...

Imagine being alienated from school work for 3 whole months, and suddenly, boom, you have a presentation to prepare for in less than a week. It's even worse than writing some weekly responses to a text or the likes. Yes, I was totally bombarded last night, trying to agree on a topic and finding the relevant secondary resource to back it up or argue against... I don't even know what I was doing last night...Now, I'm back to dealing with Doctor Faustus, and I'm so so reluctant... Haha... Still, it's better to get it over with so I can start on other things, like the readings for English Literatures... A lot... Till then...

Decided to blog while printing my notes. A lot to print...It was too late last night and I didn't want to disturb my sister's sleep. I'm back to being the owl... No point trying to sleep early when I only toss and turn in bed whenever I turn in early... And then I will be tired during morning classes. Hmm... What to do? I have to start filing up all my notes. They are everywhere, here and there. Messy... Anyway, Energy's new album is coming out soon, on the 25th this month. Can't wait... Cool... It's been a long wait. I guess you don't stop supporting your idols even when they are out of action for a long period of time. The feeling is still there, it lingers. The feeling... How do I describe it? I guess only people with idols will understand me... What am I saying yet again? Anyone knows? *lame*Saw the guys on tv yesterday afternoon. They were so raw. Yes, raw is the word. I guess after being away from tv and the limelight for a long time, you kinda lose that touch you have when handling the media. It is even worse for them, the host was their good friend, buddy.Getting nonsensical yet again... twice!

Finally! I'm back to writing my blog. Been neglecting it for a while. Thoughts are piling up inside, have to purge them all out...Was really tired and restless the past week. Pzzz... Felt like doing nothing but sleeping all day long that week. But it's over... Back to energized me... Haha...Jap classes have been fun and relaxed, though I must admit I was a little blur after missing a class. But I will catch up. Can't afford not to... Just finished writing my first reflection paper for Modernism. Yes, my first one. Took quite while since I don't really know what to write about. But it's out! Haha. Another one to write before Friday. Hmmmm...Oh ya, wish Prof Shirley Chew's lectures get better as the weeks go on. Can hardly keep up with her or stay awake during her last few lectures. Did I choose a wrong module to take? Argh...One interesting tidbit: The top three Superbands all held/planning to hold fans' gatherings on three consecutive Sundays. Soul, Lucify, MLB...following the order. Haha. MLB is holding theirs this coming Sunday... Bet a lot of people will show up, even though the limit is set at eighty... Superband withdrawal again... Guess that's about all, just wanna write something trivial... Yes, trivial... 123... (lame "')

Vintage... While I was walking to the bus stop after I parted from my friends today, a guy called out to me and handed me a card. It was a promotional card. Apparently, some people got together and started an online shop selling vintage wear. Interesting...Checked out the website when I got home and found a few gems in there. The sizes are limited though, the ones that caught my eyes ran out of sizes. Most of it... a pity... I think I will check out the online store from time to time... I like checking out clothes, never tired of it... Haha...

In the end, my miracle did not come. At first, I thought I might have a chance. I was hopeful, but now, I have lost all hope. I have a 5 day week...with Tuesdays and Wednesdays totally horrible... Why? I have only 1 class each for each of the 2 days... And I have to spend 1 hour plus on travelling just for those 2 classes on those 2 days... It's horrible!!! One would have thought I would have a 3 or 4 day week, since my Thursdays are full...from morning all the way to evening... Sigh...What can I do? The only thing I can do now is to convince myself to go for that class on Tuesdays... And that my consolation is that I start only at 1630 on Wednesdays. Gonna have to convince myself that it can still be counted as a day off... Argh, what am I saying? Getting nonsensical...

What have I been doing lately? Well, watching 'Save the Last Dance for Me', orientation, first day of school... Not much, but it seems hectic... What am I even talking about? Lalaalaa...
New Literatures first lecture was BRAINY... Yes, that's what it was like. To me, it was too much for a first lecture on the first day of school. Whatever...
I did not get the slot I want for HW111 again!!! Darn... It was already full by the time I finally managed to log on. Traffic was heavy.... So I am back to waiting, waiting, waiting... Waiting for someone to drop his/her place in that class... Will it even happen? Sigh... Just the mere thought of going to school on Tuesdays for that one class is putting me off... seriously...
I think I am hooked to 'Last Dance'. Can't stop myself from watching at least one episode a day and searching for the theme songs and everything. Oh no... Not a good way to start a brand new term... I intend to put in my 100% this semester... I wanna better grades, especially the oh-so-near and yet so far A...

My last day at work @ 4:27 PM
Yesterday, 31 july 2006.It was my last day of work at Dorothy Perkins Plaza Singapura. Having worked there for close to 2 months, I was a little reluctant to leave. Yes, after all my grouses... It may be a tough job, especially during the store's end of season period, but the people there are real nice...Julaiha and Renee gave me a heart bracelet. It was the one I was eyeing and wondering whether I should get it or not. I was touched when I received the gift. Ju taught me a number of things, Renee and I started off badly. We couldn't stand the sight of each other, but somehow, we became friends who share a common passion of romance novels... Ju is also one tall girl...taller than I am... Jennifer is my best friend from work, and we promised to get together one day before she goes back to Philipines. She's on attachment there, and God, she works longer hours than all of us there... Poor girl... Luckily her attachment is ending soon... Cassandra is my teacher. She's in charge of training new-comers and letting them get used to the whole work environment. She has a hell of a hack for tempting me with Japanese ice-cream from Yoshinoya. Now, I love Jap ice-cream!Tutie, my owner... Haha... Doggie has abandoned u... opps... Work hard though, may you become an awesome make-up professional one day... Jessica, you may be fierce but I know you have all our welfare at heart. I'll remember what you said about money and clothes. Your advice helps. If not, God knows how much more money I will have spent on clothes.
