Watched the finale of Project Superstar 2 last night. I dare say it was the best competition ever. Haha… I’m only saying that because both contestants are my favourites in this competition. They really deserve to be in the finals… And I think Daren deserves the overall champion title too. :p

That said, I still think it was a pity that Diya did not win. Part of me was hoping she would win a nd do girls proud, after all, I'm getting a little sick of male champions emerging from such singing competitions. But then, another part of me is happy that Daren won. Contradictory ar? Comes from having two favourites contending each other, and also the feminist side of me acting up. Diya was good last night, even better than her previous performances. If not, she would not have won favour with the judges in 3 of the 5 rounds. She’s GOOD, and Daren too. Haha, I sound like a crazy fan, even to myself. Opps… But I am one...

And I’m glad that Diya might have a chance of securing a recording contract. Shouldn’t let her talent and effort go to waste… Haha…

To end off, I’m glad that Daren won! Most of his performances, from beginning to now, have been spectacular. He’s a star… Just so excited that Singapore finally has a different kind of singer, apart from composer types like JJ. Now we have a bad guy cum cool singer… It's a refreshing addition... to the now stagnant mix...
