Suddenly, I feel that life is precarious. Even an innocent work trip to a foreign country can potentially turn into something dangerous and nerve-wrecking. Suddenly, I realized we don't live in a world full of rainbows and laughter. That means, we don't live in fairyland. We don't lead the live of princes and princesses. My realization does not mean I was naive about the workings of the world before that. I don't. I just wanna make an impact. Haha...

I was talking about the Stefanie Sun's incident in Egypt. I saw the headlines on the newspapers before I heard about it on tv and on radio. Everyone in the media was covering the news. It was hard not to know. What surprised me was the supposedly tour-guide and his actions. I never knew that people can be so cunning, especially in a country I don't know well and have never been before. Or perhaps, I am more willing to believe people are good by nature. That may be a naive way of thinking, but I prefer it better. I don't want to see the world as evil and cunning. Sure, there are evil and cunning all around. However, like what tv shows portray, I believe there are more good people than evil people around. It makes life easier. Why make our lives difficult???

And another thing. Artistes, however glamourous they appear on stage, they are not immune to dangerous situations. They are ordinary people too, like us.

Wow, I can't believe I got so philosophical. I just wanna pen my thoughts down.

And I should really and seriously pen my thoughts down for the research proposal. And I did. Yet, somehow, it was really hard to write a coherent piece out. Even after I know exactly what it is I wanna do on. If only, if only... If only, writing that proposal is as easy as blogging.

But... Grades make all the difference.
