Congratualtions. My laptop's battery just abandoned me to my own vices, right in the midst of my essay writing. It is now officially unresponsive. It won't give a damn anymore. You win.. And so, my laptop is now functioning solely on AC power. No more help from the battery. It's a good thing that we can always rely on electricity (if we pay our utilities bills on time, that is). It's a good thing I was saving my essay on my thumbdrive all the while. At the very least, I have a backup. If not, I'll cry.. on the spot..Technology is not always reliable, as I have just realised. Sigh.
