Flashbacks ~ fave dramas of the year @ 5:56 PM

I'm here yet again. Just really feel like blogging today. :p

The Prince Who Turns Into a Frog:

Never thought I would watch this drama and like it tremendously. The story plot line revolves around a love story clad in fairytale glamour. The female lead is one who life goal is to marry a rich man and live the life of the wealthy. The male lead on the other hand is an arrogant man who has never really tasted the sweetness of love although he has a fiancée. Upon an accident, he loses his memory and falls for the female lead. The plot is nothing new; the interesting thing about it is that the leads repeat their love process in the second part of the show. How, I’m not going to tell…

Charmed:

I read the books before I started to watch the show. The show is about three witches who are also sisters who have to carry their destiny as witches: saving the world. That is just the surface meaning of the drama series; another more important meaning lies beneath. The show promulgates women’s rights and authority. After all, it is the women who ultimately save the world in the end. The fact that I like the show does not make me a feminist though. I prefer to think I am neutral.

Reaching for the stars:

Still in the process of watching the show on Channel U. I like the drama for its theme: 3 friends who are as close as sisters. Friction does occur between them, and that makes them even closer to one another.

Love Concierge:

Like the show for its love theme. Can’t help it, I’m a romantic who goes by feelings. Haha. And because I do long for a perfect lover too, just like Ruyi in the show.
