Joseph Conrad @ 9:23 AM

After reading a short story from Conrad yesterday, I think I'm not as prejudiced towards Conrad as before. What put me off Conrad was his 'Heart of Darkness'. It was super dry and I never got round to finishing the whole story.

However, after reading 'The Lagoon' last night, I realised his short stories are actually quite enjoyable and digestable. It was the shortest story in the collection, so I guess you know the reason for me reading it in the first place. Now, I wonder if the other stories are as interesting?

Still, I find it a chore having to attend SIngapore Lit lecture later on. Luckily, there are presentations, so I guess it's gonna make the time go faster, if you know what I mean. That first lecture really put me off...
